VERSES: I COR. 9:24-25
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Athletics:
CCHS is dedicated to establishing a competitive and comprehensive Athletic Department that considers Christ as the cornerstone, the rock on which to build spiritually, mentally and physically the gifts He has given to each athlete. Corona Christian is laying out a detailed and deliberate plan to create a first-rate Athletic Department which will bring online additional sports yearly as the school grows, culminating with our completed Sports Complex on the permanent site. Our proposed Sports Complex will consist of the following: 3 court gymnasium, track and field/football stadium, swim complex, athletic fields, strength and conditioning facilities, wrestling room, locker rooms and concession areas, and a Hall of Achievement.
CCHS is currently enlisting the guidance of some of Southern California’s top athletic professionals to help establish top-notch teams, facilities and coaches.
Corona Christian will begin the 2008-2009 school year with its first phase of the Athletic program consisting of a boys’ football training program (scrimmage only), boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls basketball, track and field, and pep squad. As the school grows CCHS will be phasing in additional sports over the next 3-5 years to bring the program to maturity at the permanent location. Each new sport will begin at the Freshman or JV level, allowing appropriate physical and fiscal development. Future athletics will include 11-man tackle football, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls tennis, boys and girls water polo, swimming, baseball, softball, wrestling and cheerleading.

Romans 12:4-6a
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them:

Clubs:
It is Corona Christian’s prayer that every student will find an extracurricular activity that will enhance their God-given gifts. CCHS believes that God has given each child a special gift in which to honor and serve Him. Every student will be asked to fill out an interest survey upon enrollment. This will help CCHS to see what electives to focus on first. During the 2008-2009 school year, CCHS students will be able to propose clubs that they are interested in starting. If a group of 4 or more students express interest and commitment to a type of club, project or endeavor, and they find a faculty member or current CCHS parent who is willing to act as the advisor, the group may seek approval from the administration to start their club. We look forward to watching God incorporate the individual talents and creativity of each student into a beautiful, multi-faceted, yet unified body of young adults set apart to serve Him.
